In an online ratification vote from Friday, June 23 to Tuesday, June 27, 94% of voters approved the interim agreement. The vote was organized for AMAPCEO by an independent company, Simply Voting, Inc. We, the PAHO employees, represented by AMAPCEO, receive 1% increases twice a year between 2019 and 2021-2. And as a signing bonus, you get a 1.5% increase across the board. If you are in a red circle, after a four-year pay break and no payment for benefit options, you will receive two lump sum payments (unless you retire as I do before April 2, 2019). I receive a lump sum payment of $850 to $900 after taxes, and a “thank you very much – you are not important to us, and we do not look after you older employees. If you do not have a login yet or if AMAPCEO has not yet provided a personal email address, please send them to us on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at 5:00 pm ET ratification@amapceo.on.ca. The AMAPCEO Board of Directors unanimously recommends ratifying this agreement. AMAPCEO members will vote on the offer from June 23 to 27 and the results will be announced on Wednesday, June 28. For more information on the offer, please visit the AMAPCEO website at amapceo.on.ca/ops2017 note: All minimum and maximum wage limits will also be increased for each salary increase mentioned above.

The employer insisted that this 1% – the last stage of the 2009-2012 wage increases – should remain confidential beyond our negotiation and ratification procedures. OPSEU has approved this scheme. AMAPCEO and OPS Employer have reached a preliminary agreement to extend our current contract by four years, with a 7.5% increase in salary over this period. The existing collective agreement expires on March 31, 2018. the new agreement, if ratified by AMAPCEO members and cabinet, runs from April 1, 2018 to March 31, 2022. This salary increase was negotiated in 2008/2009 with the other provisions of the current agreement. Members were briefed on this during briefings and voting on the ratification of the treaty. With the current contract due to expire in March next year, negotiations are not expected to begin until early 2018. TORONTO, June 14, 2017 /CNW/- The Ontario government has offered AMAPCEO members to the Ontario Public Service (OPS) a four-year rollover of their existing collective agreement. If the new agreement is ratified by members and cabinet, it will expire on March 31, 2022. AMAPCEO held four telephone town halls in the week of June 19 to allow members to get more details on the preliminary agreement and ask questions.

For 2012, there is an additional general salary increase of one per cent. “AMAPCEO was approached last week by the employer to ask them to discuss a roll-over of our current agreement,” said Dave Bulmer, President of AMAPCEO. “We believe we have negotiated a reasonable extension that protects our current rules, provides members with fair pay increases, makes substantial improvements and provides stability for the next four years – without concessions.” Voting is managed by an independent third party Simply Voting.
