Yes, you can pay with an international credit or debit card, or you can transfer the balance from your international account. There will be a handling fee on transfers, and there is a 3% surcharge for credit cards and 1% surcharge for debit cards.
Smart City Rooms can offer you flexible contract lengths from between 6 months up to 36 months. Some of our properties are also available on shorter lets.

You can pay rent monthly by standing order from your UK bank account, or via a debit or credit card. Please be aware that a 3% surcharge applies for credit cards and a 1% surcharge applies for debit cards.
Your rent is for your room and the shared facilities in the property. With Smart City Rooms, everything is included in your monthly fee – this means all bills such as gas, electricity, Council Tax, etc. Find out more about what’s covered here.
Yes, the cleaner comes regularly, and is included in your monthly rent. Your room will be thoroughly cleaned before you move in.
Your deposit will be safely kept with My Deposits, a government approved tenancy deposit protection scheme.
Not without speaking with you first. If there is a disagreement, an independent arbitrator will decide the outcome.
This would be decided on a case-by-case basis, but it is likely that we would ask you to find a replacement tenant that we approve of. An early termination fee may also apply.
You will simply need to fill in the maintenance and repair form here, and we will take care of the issue as soon as possible.

Wherever possible, we will try to avoid this happening and provide keys and access ourselves. However on some occasions we may request that you provide access to tradesmen.
